Greg certainly knows his stuff. One of the top 100 club fitters in the world, indeed. KZG is as good as any big name equipment brand out there. There is a great range of heads and shafts available and he will step you through a heap of options on flight scope. The results will speak for themselves by the end of the session - apex height, ball speed, smash factor, face angle, dispersal, shot shape, the whole kit and caboodle. I was fitted for very stable graphite shafts that regular tour golfers play today. Have always envisioned being fitted by a big name brand but I was impressed by the KZG range of irons that my pennants captain played and having a local facility also available for seasonal loft/lie adjustments. Greg will frequency test, spine align, assess length/lie angles and all body measurements for the perfect fit. Highly recommended if you want to play more consistent golf off low numbers!

I can’t speak highly enough of Gregg Ashton and his custom fitting service. After returning to golf following a back injury, I initially went through the usual high-street fittings and ended up with clubs that didn’t suit my game. As a former single-figure golfer in the ’80s, playing off 2, I knew I was compensating for ill-fitting clubs. Then I found Gregg—ranked among the top 100 club fitters in the world—and booked a session. Over two hours on the Flightscope, the results were incredible. The difference in feel, distance, and accuracy compared to my previous irons was night and day. The clubs were ready in a week and have completely transformed my game. A big thanks also to Maria, who kept me updated throughout the process and provided outstanding customer service. I’m already booked in for a driver fitting. World-class service, proper expertise, and all without breaking the bank.

The decision to invest in KZG irons for our 12 year old son has been a game changer. His performance has noticeably improved since investing in new irons. We are so appreciative to Marie and Greg for how patient and encouraging you have both been throughout his golf journey. Can highly recommend Greg and Marie for any type of golfer.
Greg is about as granular as anyone I've ever come across when it comes to club building, and unless you're a pro, you don't often get access to master club builders like him. If you've not had desired results from the usual suspects in the golf retail world, visit Greg and see what a fully bespoke fitting does for your game. He mainly works with KZG gear, but their range is pretty good and most people should find something that works for them, especially with Gregs ability to customize for every swing type. Both he and Marie are top notch and always great to work with.
